The core of life cycle management is component aging, which is simulated in speedikon® C via aging curves. This method of aging curves is initially based on the component lifetimes estimated by the manufacturers, which are however sharpened by regular assessments. Depending on the importance of the component, these typically take place every 2 to 5 years; in case of particularly critical infrastructures, of course, more often. These regular inspections are supported in speedikon® C by the use of configurable checklists, which are also available on mobile devices. In addition, measurement data and sensor values taken from the technical assets can also be taken into account and thus provide an even more accurate picture of the reality.

Intelligent algorithms precisely adapt the calculated aging curves based on the different information to the reality of the customer environment and thus allow the derivation of reliable status parameters. Forecasts then determine when the end of life of a component is to be expected and when it has to be replaced.

With the help of graphs and traffic light symbols, the respective condition of the buildings and technical assets can be monitored, and you can immediately recognize where measures are necessary. Flexible rule sets and weighting factors can be integrated into the evaluations in order to take into account external influences or other factors as well.

In addition to the condition of an asset, the costs are also of paramount importance. Therefore, the system also offers a cost simulation with which the expected costs are predicted. On the one hand, these forecasts are a basis for budget and investment planning, and on the other hand, they are also the basis for strategic considerations in the context of portfolio management.
